“ Child led, learning and growth through play “
Education begins from birth .. from the first smile, first roll over or the first time they reach for food or milk. These are all milestones that are seemingly just a physical development, but are hugely important in more ways than one. At Nippers HQ we provide a safe and stimulating environment that enables children to learn and grow through play and exploring the world around them.
We follow a child led learning approach - meaning we observe what interests a child, and use this as stepping stones to further progress individual learning and development.
We follow the EYFS, focus on the key areas of learning :

Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Literacy

Expressive Arts and Design
Understanding the World

We are a fully inclusive and diverse setting. We enjoy learning about and celebrating our own cultures and faiths, as well as exploring those from all over the world.

We cook or bake once a week regardless of age ! We find and plan our own recipes, visit the supermarket, weigh out ingredients and follow the directions. There are so many unknown learning opportunities while cooking.

While we learn through play we use all of our senses to do so. Whether that be through touch and sight, or using scents and essences, or by extending our tastes in our activities. Learning is always fun at Nippers HQ !
